This small passage is situated between Vene and Müürivahe street. The southern section is overlooked by residential buildings of the 15th, 16th and 17th century, whereas in the northern part the ruins of St. Catherine 's church are still visible.

The passage was rediscovered in 1995, and the craftsmen workshops which settled here gave a new life to the area. Today visitors can stop by to see the craftsmen at work.
