Tallinn is divided into three zones:

Toompea (Domberg), which has always been the headquarter of the public authorities. In present days you can find here the palace of the Estonian government, embassies and diplomatic offices;
The Old Town, Vanallin, which is the old Hanseatic town, heart of the medieval trade.
The Estonian town, situated south of the Old Town. This is the place where the Estonians settled down, originating the largest ethnic group in the XIX century.
